Background
Created by Suntory Chief Master Blender Shinji Fukuyo, this latest “Limited Edition” bottling from Yamazaki blends several single malts distilled and aged at the Yamazaki distillery. The collector’s bottle features imagery of Yamazaki’s pot stills and the kanji characters for Yamazaki in gold.
Yamazaki Limited Edition 2015 comprises three single malt whiskies, including one aged in sherry casks for more than 20 years, another aged in port wine casks for more than 20 years, and a younger single malt aged in ex bourbon American white oak barrels.
