Background
Released not long after the no-age statement Hibiki Japanese Harmony, the Master’s Select expression of Hibiki Japanese Harmony is exclusive to travel retail (read: duty free) – but luckily for you, we’ve got it in stock for your tasting delight!
The Master’s Select is a blend of more than ten malt and grain whiskies which are aged in five different types of casks from the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries. It was developed by Suntory chief blender Shinji Fukuyo and its production overseen by the third generation master blender and great-grandson of Suntory founder, Shingo Torii.
With sweet sherry notes, Hibiki Japanese Harmony Master’s Select is described as a delicate harmonious expression that is subtle and complex.
“Hibiki Japanese Harmony Master’s Select is an unprecedented exclusive blend, the first in travel retail. The demand for Japanese whisky is consistently increasing and the launch allows us to make this globally acclaimed whisky accessible to a wider audience,” said Beam Suntory Global Travel Retail marketing director, Michael Cockram.
