This year’s World Whisky Day is on Saturday 20 May. World Whisky Day is an annual, global day of whisky which invites everyone to try a dram and celebrate the water of life. The day is about making whisky fun for all, not about being exclusive or prescriptive.

For the week leading in to World Whisky Day, we’re celebrating with a global menu of whisky cocktails, highlighting classic whisky cocktails with your choice of drams from across the world. Check out the menu below – slainte.

WORLD WHISKY WEEK COCKTAILS, 15-20 MAY

1. Select your classic whisky cocktail:

OLD FASHIONED – whisky of choice, sugar, Angostura & orange bitters

WHISKY SOUR – whisky of choice, lemon, sugar, egg white

BOULEVARDIER – whisky of choice, Campari, sweet vermouth, orange

MANHATTAN – whisky of choice, sweet vermouth, Angostura bitters

2. Select your whisky/whiskey/bourbon for the cocktail:

JAPAN – Suntory Toki blended whisky

SCOTLAND – Benriach 10 year old single malt

AUSTRALIA – Starward Two-Fold blended whisky

USA – Maker’s Mark bourbon

IRELAND – Connemara Peated single malt Irish whiskey
